Reconnecting The Diaspora (Philly)

This safe space will encourage us to free ourselves from our mental enslavement and preconditioned beliefs about our racial, social, and cultural identities so we can instead recognize our similarities. This social experiment will include wellness instructors, interactive discussion activities, panel of speakers, and spoken word performers that will be a representation for their personal history as a person of the African Diaspora. They are there to speak up and serve as mediators to encourage an open dialogue amongst all people to connect the people of the African diaspora and ignite positive support within communities of color.

Ticket includes a meditation/sound healing experience, interactive discussion activities, panel discussion, spoken word performances, and lite bites and refreshments.

This social experiment will begin with wellness instructors setting the intention for the safe space from 4:15pm - 5:00pm EST. Black Lotus Holistic Health Collective will offer a meditation/sound healing experience to set the intention for the safe space. Please arrive to the event on time if you would like to participate in the sound healing experience.
